Sales/Business Development Director – Life Sciences

Role:

This role will be responsible for identifying major accounts within the Life Sciences, Healthcare, & Pharma sector. Both existing and new logos. Lead and contribute to high-impact projects in top-line strategy, M&A, market access, strategic planning, product, and portfolio strategy and more. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver insightful solutions to complex business challenges. Strong expertise in pharma R&D & commercial & medical devices entire value chain (added). Engage in business development activities, establishing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders in the life sciences industry. Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and methodologies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate, lead, and negotiate strategic opportunities with new and existing clients to create and sustain a diverse book of business within the Pharma, Healthcare & Life Sciences industry.
  • Accurately forecast and achieve annually, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams while monitoring growth.
  • Partner with the proposal team to gain closure on deals and negotiate contracts.
  • Demonstrate energy, hunger, client success focus, and an understanding of the services market.
  • Act as the lead on assigned accounts, maintaining existing relationships, and developing and nurturing new ones while setting the sales strategy.
  • Drive growth through hunting new opportunities. Hunter mentality required.

 

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years of strong experience in selling consulting services into the Life Sciences, Pharma, & Healthcare domain.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working for a Global Services Firm, with Onshore/Offshore sales experience and a minimum of $5MM annual quota.
  • Excellent collaboration, relationship, and team-building skills.
  • Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
